Pipeline Framework: Vacuum Cleaners

A pipeline has been launched for Vacuum Cleaners.The contract start Date is 02 July 2018. Approach to market date is 17 April 2018.Housing&Care21 currently purchase a range of vacuum cleaners and accessories from our current incumbent. The items are purchased by and delivered to all Housing&Care21 office locations and Housing&Care21 scheme locations throughout England.The average order value is £161.77 and our incumbent supplier makes 199 deliveries annually (data extracted from MI for August 2017 to February 2018)The objective of this tender is to appoint a suitable, experienced supplier to provide a cost effective, high quality and reliable service for the supply of vacuum cleaners. It is expected that the appointed supplier will deliver a number of improvements to the service including the ability for relevant staff to order via an online ordering system, unit cost reduction, product innovation, waste reduction, core list control and rationalisation.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
