Kier chosen by Homes England for major £200m 750 home Northamptonshire development
Homes England has chosen Kier Living as their residential development partner to deliver a major £200m community of 750 new homes on a 48-hectare site in Hardingstone, Northamptonshire.Work starts on site in April 2018, with a three-phase development programme of 250 units per phase. The site will also boast a wide range of community facilities including a new primary school, medical centre and pharmacy, leisure facilities, as well as office and retail space. The new site helps with the Government’s ambition to deliver 300,000 new homes a year and address regional need, with the National Housing Federation’s ‘Homes Truths’ report[1] revealing a shortfall of 25,000 homes built in the East Midlands between 2012 – 2016.
