BAM awarded new East Renfrewshire school contract
BAM Construction has been appointed by East Renfrewshire Council to build a new primary and nursery school in Newton Mearns on Glasgow’s south-side.The new £12.2 million Maidenhill Primary and Nursery School will be located off Ayr Road and will provide early learning education facilities for the new Maidenhill residential area where the first phase of the 834 house development is already under construction.Overall 444 new primary and 120 nursery places are being created along with joint community facilities that include a multi-use games hall and 3G pitch.Work will start work on site in May and the school will open in summer 2019.
