Short description of the contract or purchase(s): This tender is to appoint Awarding Bodies to a framework offering the provision of Construction and the Built Environment qualifications to CPC members. The Awarding Bodies and qualifications must conform to Ofquals General Conditions of Recognition (at time of tender reference: Ofqual/14/5545).
CPC are keen to ensure this framework is not about lowest cost, but placing emphasis on quality and service for members to engage with the most appropriate Awarding Body that meets their overall requirements.
This is an initial pilot framework, if successful for CPC members and the Awarding Bodies, CPC intend to tender for Awarding Bodies in additional curriculum areas.
It is a requirement of the Tender that the selected Supplier(s) will extend the terms to all eligible Institutions as defined by the CPC including Further Education Institutions, 6th Forms, Academies, Schools, Museums and other similar organisations.
Other Educational Institutions may directly use the framework through CPC as a single contract member. The CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating Institutions and Consortia.
