Apartment scheme for former mill approved
Approval has been granted for a 210 apartments scheme at a former mill in Loughborough.Applicant Solus Homes has won permission from Charnwood Borough Council to redevelop the former 3M Healthcare building in Morley Street, which it bought in November 2017.The four-storey mill previously hosted 170 staff before the company relocated to the Charnwood Campus.The application also includes the construction of two five-to-eight-storey buildings and the provision of 3,971 sq ft of retail, restaurant, gym and office space.The proposal features 227 car parking spaces in total.
