Consultation on proposed Powys business park
Plans for a 42,324 sq ft industrial park and recycling facility for a Powys town have been put out for consultation.The proposed Abermule Business Park near Newtown would include six units ranging from 1,614sq ft to 10,763 sq ft as well as a bulk recycling site.Basic infrastructure construction work was carried out several years ago at the site as part of the Severn Valley Regeneration Programme, which was funded by European Regional Development Funding and the Welsh Government.If granted planning permission, it is envisaged that construction of the first business unit will start in spring 2019 with the remaining business units being constructed as tenants come forward.
