Supermarket plans for former bus depot poised for green light
Plans to build a supermarket on the site of a former First Bus depot in Bristol are set to receive the green light after planners recommended them for approval.The bus depot was last used in 2010. If approved, the 23,745sq ft Lidl supermarket on the site in the Lockleaze ward will support 40 jobs.The company would be required to pay a community infrastructure levy of £356,899.29, and the existing planning permission for a supermarket on the adjacent Brunel Ford Car Showroom would be extinguished.
