108-home development at former police training facility given green light
The second phase of a housing development at the site of the former Gwent Police Training College in Cwmbran has been approved.The Taylor Wimpey development follows on from the 219-home development currently under construction at the same site, which was granted planning permission in 2015, although the first planning permission was brought back to the Torfaen planning committee due to a hedgerow being illegally removed.The site is allocated for up to 350 homes in the adopted Torfaen local development plan.
