Plan for major 950-home estate in Clacton given the green light
Plans for a major development of almost 1,000 new homes have been given the green light.Persimmon Homes has been given the go-ahead to build the new estate on the Rouses Farm site, off St John’s Road, Clacton.The proposal includes 950 homes, a new primary school, healthcare facility, shops and a community centre.The outline plans were approved by Tendring Council’s planning committee although a detailed application will need to be rubber-stamped before works can start.
