171-home development set for green light
A 171-home development in Bath is poised for the green light after council officers recommended the plans for approval.The application from Hignett Family Trust and Bloor Homes consists of 171 homes, 40 per cent of which are to be affordable, on land near Odd Down.The site is spread over 11 hectares and is currently used for agriculture, within both the Cotswold Aerea of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Bath Green Belt.The site is allocated in the local development plan for up to 300 homes.
