Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The provision of works for kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects for public sector organisations in three (3) regional Lots throughout Wales.
The arrangement will be awarded under 2 work-streams (WS1 or WS2). Micro/SME’s will be encouraged to tender for the lower value banded Work-stream 1 (Project value: GBP 3 000-250 000), in 1 or 2 adjoining geographic area Lots. Larger organisations will be encouraged to tender for the higher value banded Work-stream 2 (Project values: Tier 1 GBP 250 001-750 000, Tier 2 GBP 500 000+)
The invitation to the restricted procedure is advertised in OJEU in 4 contract notices with the following intended regional splits:
Contract Notice 1 (subject of a separate Contract Notice): London – 1 geographic area Lot, 2 Value banded Work-streams;
Contract Notice 2 (subject of a separate Contract Notice): England – 8 geographic area Lots, 2 Value banded Work-streams;
Contract Notice 3 (subject of this Contract Notice): Wales – 3 geographic area Lots, 2 Value banded Work-streams;
It is envisaged that eleven (11) companies will be appointed in each geographic area Lot, totalling a possible 33 companies.
Contract Notice 4 (subject of a separate Contract Notice): Scotland – 2 geographic area Lots, 2 Value banded Work-streams.
