A tender has been issued for an intraoral digital imaging system.
A healthcare network wants to transition from paper-based to electronic health records. Its Oral Health Centre has net yet transitioned to a full paperless health record system. This is due to the manual processing of radiographs, which the Centre keeps on site. The physical storage prevents sharing of radiographs to support the care of patients. Most public oral health services in Australia have transitions to digital radiography . The Centre strives to do the same to improve clinical decision making and care.
