New restaurant and bar to check in at airport
A new restaurant and bar is set to open at East Midlands Airport this summer.Proof will be owned and operated by Manchester Airports Group (MAG) and will open at the Castle Donington site ahead of being introduced to others such as London Stansted.The MAG lounges team is also behind the group’s Escape and 1903 Lounge concepts, with seven lounges in the UK and four currently open in the USA.Each Proof bar will be numbered, with the figure denoting the year in which the host airport started commercial flight operations. The first bar at East Midlands will, therefore, be called Proof 65.A number of new jobs are also set to be created when the new venue opens.
