Pipeline Framework: Expression of Interest (EOI) for Northamptonshire County Council Pathology and Associated Body Storage, in Support of the Coroner’s Office

A pipeline has been launched for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Northamptonshire County Council Pathology and Associated Body Storage, in Support of the Coroner’s Office.The contract start Date is 01 April 2019. Approach to market date is 24 September 2018.Northamptonshire County Council is reviewing their Pathology and associated Mortuary services with the intention of re-commissioning the service, with a new Contract in place from April 2019. We are seeking expressions of interest from potential providers prior to potentially entering into formal procurement arrangements. The information set out is indicative of our current overall plans for the service but is subject to change at any time up to the point that the tender is let. Please note that Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be completed online, via ProContract at by 12:00noon Thursday 19th July 2018. Further information relating to the PIN and EOI process can be found within the EOI – Submission Guidance Document. Please note that NCC reserves the right to only invite those that have submitted an EOI to any further Tender stage(s). NCC reserves the right to directly award this contract to a single or multiple Providers. This will be dependent on responses to questions 3.8.4 and 3.8.5 of the “Expression of Interest (EOI) Questionnaire”.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
