Go-ahead for almost 500 new homes and country park
Almost 500 new homes and a 40-acre country park are set to be build in Staffordshire after the go-ahead was granted.Deanslade Park Consortium and Taylor Wimpey are behind the scheme for Deanslade Park on land south of Falkland Road in Lichfield.Litchfield District Council approved the application at a meeting on Monday 2 July and a total of 475 homes will now be constructed alongside the country park, a one-form-entry primary school and sports pitches.The application was first submitted to the council in August 2017.
