Plans in for £100m Liverpool development
Plans for a £100m residential-led development in Liverpool have been revealed.Brunswick Quay is proposed for a site between the southern edge of Brunswick Dock, Liverpool Marina and the sea lock. The proposals have been submitted on behalf of Maro Developments.Included in the application – which is led by architecture practice Fletcher-Rae – are 552 homes across four buildings varying in height from seven to 12 storeys, totalling more than 500,000 sq ft. It would be linked by landscaped garden piazzas, set above secure enclosed car parking.The piazzas would include children’s play-space, recreational space and views out to the River Mersey and Marina. The proposals also incorporate retail and commercial units at the ground floor of the buildings along the riverside.
