Cardiff Council wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the hiring of events infrastructure equipment and security personnel. The Framework will look to service events throughout Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Bay and the surrounding area. Events will range in scale from musical acts on a bandstand, to large scale, multi-site events such as the Cardiff Harbour Festival, Extreme Sailing Series, Cardiff Festival, Cardiff Half Marathon and The International Food and Drink Festival. The framework will also be utilised for any ad hoc requirements the Council may have. Ad hoc events have in the past included the Wales Velothon, Rugby World Cup 2015, Cardiff Fan-zone and in future years will include the Volvo Ocean Race, Roald Dahl Weekend of The Unexpected and UEFA Cup Finals amongst many more.
