Plans submitted 84 new homes for empty site in Easterhouse
Architects have submitted plans to build 84 new homes on a derelict site in Easterhouse on behalf of Lochfield Park Housing Association (LPHA).The proposals include a mix of two, three and four-bedroom terraced houses, alongside one, two and three-bedroom flats. Eight of the properties will be wheelchair accessible.If approved, the 3.6-hectare site, which has sat vacant for more than 15 years, will form part of LPHA’s attempts to regenerate the Easterhouse area.The developers plan to deliver 105 parking spaces for residents and 21 for visitors, with 84 new bike spaces included.Glasgow City Council is expected to decide on the application later this year.
