New £100m retail park planned next to Transport Museum
A new £100m retail park with a casino, cinema and a hotel is planned for next to Glasgow’s transport museum.Planning permission has been submitted for a “mixed use development” with retail, office, leisure, commercial, education, restaurants and a hotel.The site is planned for Glasgow Harbour East at Castlebank Quay, Pointhouse Quay and Yorkhill Quay, just up the water from the Riverside Museum.Submitted by Glasgow Harbour Limited, the plans are part of the Glasgow Harbour development that was approved by Glasgow City Council in September 2017.
