II.1.5) Short description of the specific contract:
Northumbrian Water has an annual requirement of approximately 2712 filter cartridges of the following description:
— Micron Filter cartridge 10um absolute Melt brown polypropylene 40” length amazon code A end fitting, EPDM seals,
— The product must be able to fit the amazon filter cartridge system,
— The product must have high performance and longevity (3 months plus),
— The product must be Water industry Reg 31 approved,
— Cartridge quantity per housing is 15.
The above filter cartridges shall be used across the eight sites:
Thorpe, New Winning, Fulwell, Stoneygate, Dalton, North Dalton, Hawthorn, Peterlee
It is intended that a 3 year contract is awarded with an option to extend for a further 2 years. It is anticipated that around 13,000 cartridges shall be purchased over the full contract duration.
