Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The Contracting Authorities listed in Annex A are acting together as Eastern Procurement Ltd (EP). Details of current EP Members can be found on www.easternprocurement.co.uk Applicants should note that all EP Members are participating in this procurement on their own behalf and on behalf of future Members and on behalf of other organisations on whose behalf properties are managed by Members.
Eastern Procurement Ltd are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Applicants to deliver the works in relation to:
Lot 1 (Kitchen and Bathroom Refurbishments, Rewiring and other General Improvements):
1. Supply and installation of kitchens,
2. Supply and installation bathrooms,
3. Electrical testing and essential remedial works,
4. Void improvements,
5. Other Improvement projects including but not limited to:
a. Fencing works,
b. Re-roofing and roof repairs,
c. Disabled adaptations,
d. External and internal decoration,
e. Insulation work,
f. External render,
g. Concrete repair,
h. General external repairs,
i. Photovoltaic systems to social housing properties,
j. Scaffolding requirements.
6. Management of multi-contractor works in a single site.
Lot 2 (Roofing and Reroofing):
Works including but not limited to:
1. Repair of roofs of below types:
a. Pitched,
b. Flat.
2. Full and partial replacement of roofs of below types:
a. Pitched,
b. Flat.
3. Scaffolding requirements.
4. Other related works.
The Authorities are therefore seeking to establish a multi-client Framework Agreement with 3 successful Applicants per Lot, depending on the quality and number of suitable bids received. The Framework Agreement will govern the letting of the contracts for the works. Call-offs will be made throughout the life of the Framework Agreement, including during the final year and may last beyond the life of the Framework Agreement.
