10.1 acre housing development gets green light
Plans to build almost 100 homes on a 10.1 acre site in Powys have been approved.The site for the 96-home development near Llanidloes was allocated for housing in the 1996 Montgomeryshire Local Plan in 1996 however is a departure from the current development plan for Powys.Sitting opposite the Parc Derw industrial site recently completed, the development will include a mix of bungalows, detached and semi-detached homes, with ten being designated affordable.The application which was prepared by Hughes Architects on behalf of Andrew Thomas, received outline permission for the development through officer delegated powers.
