Approval for Liverpool apartments
Revised plans for a 15-storey residential scheme in Liverpool have been granted the green light.Pumpfields Regeneration Co is behind the application, which concerns land bounded by Vauxhall Road. The original proposals were to demolish the existing buildings and erect two linked structures of 11 and 13 storeys, comprising 312 apartments and commercial space, were approved last year.Bringing the existing site down has already commenced, with completion nearing.However, the new application – which has been approved by Liverpool City Council – is to build a 13 and 15 storey pair of towers made up of 319 units. A public realm will also be introduced.
