More retail units proposed for shopping centre

Plans have been submitted for the creation of more retail and leisure units at the Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre in Sheffield.An application submitted to Sheffield City Council seeks permission to convert the ground floor at the north east of the centre’s East Mall entrance into four new retail units.The proposal also proposes the conversion of the first floor into either a gym or a nursery.The works would include the introduction of a glazed external facade with four glazed entrance doors into the units directly accessible from the Red Car Park.They would require a widening of the footpath directly in front of the new units, with minor alterations to the existing parking layout.
