TV broadcasters former HQ sold to residential developer
The former headquarters of commercial television broadcaster UTV has been acquired by a London-based residential developer which plans to transform it into a build-to-rent scheme.Havelock House was home to UTV for almost six decades before the broadcaster moved to City Quays 2 in the Belfast Harbour Estate.Olympian Homes has snapped up the site in a transaction handled by handled by Savills Northern Ireland.London-based Olympian has developments London, Oxford, Manchester, Cambridge and Belfast. Havelock House will be the third project added to its build-to-rent pipeline.
