Pipeline Framework: Integrated Sexual Health Services

A pipeline has been launched for Integrated Sexual Health Services.The contract start Date is 01 April 2019. Approach to market date is 10 November 2018.The Health & Social Care Act (2012) requires Cornwall Council to provide open access (open to all) sexualhealth infection screening / testing, open access contraception & prevention services, including online sexualhealth service by 1.4.19Suppliers have the opportunity to bid for 1, 2 or 3 lots:Lot 1 Open access all ageOpen access all ageContraception & sexual health service at levels 1, 2 & 3 clinical provisionClinical governance, clinical workforce, training & development in primary & secondary care. Local delivery ofthe national chlamydia screening service, integrated within GUM provision with strategic leadership/support forthose participatingLot 2 Young person’s service (universal & targeted)Contraception & sexual health service levels 1 & 2 clinical provision, relationships & sexual healtheducation ,non-clinical workforce training, condom distribution, You’re welcome accreditation scheme ( SAVY)Lot 3 HIV Prevention ServicesHIV prevention Services to prevent onward transmission from diagnosis, to undertake assertive outreach online& to offer prevention at lay bys across CornwallThis is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
