Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The Trust is seeking a concession partner for pharmaceutical services experienced in the delivery of a pharmacy outpatient dispensing service to provide across two sites – the Leeds General Infirmary and St James Hospital. The base outpatient service is to provide an excellent patient experience and be provided up to seven days a week and will allow the partner to deliver other retail and public service activity alongside core delivery.
It is not the intention of the Trust to outsource its Pharmacy services.
The Trust intends that the partnership would be capable of delivering innovation to patient care and be responsive to the changing demands to outpatient services, focussing initially on supply of medicines but through a phased approach would have the capability and the capacity to deliver solutions that would see an improved patient experience and provide patients a wider choice for the collection of their medicines.
