Pipeline Framework: NHS England (East) – Talking Therapies for Norfolk, Suffolk and Hertfordshire

A pipeline has been launched for NHS England (East) – Talking Therapies for Norfolk, Suffolk and Hertfordshire.The contract start Date is 01 April 2019. Approach to market date is 08 October 2018.NHS England wishes to advise potential bidders of its intention to procure providers of talking therapies service for children, young people and adults who have experienced trauma, including sexual trauma, in Norfolk, Suffolk and Hertfordshire. It is recognised that people who have experienced trauma have better health outcomes if they can access a course of talking therapy to enable them to reduce their anxiety and distress and to help them to form relationships of trust in future. Specific services responding to trauma are not extensively available in these counties and NHS England is shortly to offer the opportunity to provide these services for a two year period.There will be 3 lots – one for Norfolk, one for Suffolk and 1 for HertsThis is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
