Ask plans 21-storey Manchester aparthotel
Developer Ask Real Estate is preparing to submit plans for a high-rise Staycity Aparthotel project in the Deansgate area of Manchester.Designed by SimpsonHaugh Architects, Ask’s proposals for 325-327 Deansgate involve building a 21-storey aparthotel, providing around310 hotel rooms.The site sits within an emerging cluster of tall buildings around the Deansgate transport interchange, including Axis, 10-12 Whitworth Street West and Viadux.The new building will incorporate the existing Deansgate Pub, which will be retained and will remain open throughout the project.Subject to planning, Ask plans to start construction next summer.
