35 new homes to get green light in village
Up to 35 new houses planned for a Furness village could get the green light today.Housing developers Chandlers Country Homes have submitted an outline planning application to Barrow Borough Council.The greenfield five-acre site off London Road, Lindal-in-Furness, is partly used for allotments at the moment.The aim is to create a two to three-bedroom affordable starter homes and eight for the over 55, along with detached and semi-detached properties.
