Final approval for £60m residential project
A £60m, 350-home development in Lincolnshire has been given the final go-ahead.Beal Homes has secured reserved matters approval for the scheme in Welton, on the northern edge of Lincoln.The project, which will be one the East Yorkshire company’s largest schemes to date, will feature 263 open market properties, 15 affordable homes and 72 specialist retirement houses.The scheme will be developed by Lincoln-based Lace Housing, which provides housing support services for older people in Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.Outline approval for the project was secured from West Lindsey District Council in 2015.The development will cover 72 acres, including a 22-acre green space with a recreational area.
