Pub giant to install 400 electric vehicle charging points
Marston’s is to install 400 electric vehicle rapid charging points across its network of pubs across the country.The listed Wolverhampton-headquartered company has agreed a partnership with charging network operator Engenie. Marston’s has said the deal is the first of its kind in the UK pub hospitality sector.The chargers, which will be 100 per cent powered by renewable energy, will launch at The Bakehouse, Welwyn Garden City, where both Marston’s and Engenie were in attendance to mark the occasion.The roll-out will continue across all of the 200 sites until completion in 2020.
