United Kingdom-Manchester: Education and training services – Framework Lead

The current contract for Education and training services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 18-DEC-19 and may be available for retender. International Teacher Recruitment and Associated Services.

The National College of Teaching and Leadership (NCTL), on behalf of the Department for Education (DfE), wish to commission a framework agreement to enable the provision of services for the recruitment of teachers or the pipeline thereof from outside of England, along with bespoke packages of acclimatisation and development.
Improvements in the economy, a shrinking graduate pool and greater competition in the labour market will make it more difficult for the education system to meet the demand for additional teachers domestically. It is on this basis that overseas recruitment will be pursued as a supplementary avenue of teacher supply. The framework will support schools to recruit and retain overseas teachers for subjects that are currently a challenge to recruit to.
The award of the framework is subject to agreement from DfE Ministers and the number of Providers per lot may be increased in order to ensure service coverage is maintained and the framework is fit for purpose.
