Short description of the contract or purchase(s):: Network Rail are looking to provide automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) at all of our major buildings so that the risk of death due to an acute cardiac event is reduced.
The exact number of units being purchased is still undetermined. We are looking at our selected supplier to establish what will be the best solution for Network Rail’s estate. This will consider various elements including; cost, maintenance and the support around the implementation of an appropriate training regime.
