Five planning applications to be decided in Bury
Planning officers have recommended five applications for approval at tomorrow’s meeting including a large housing development.Up to 400 homes at the site of the former East Lancs Paper Mill are due to be approved by the council’s planning committee.Bury Council and the government’s housing agency, Homes England, have applied to build up to 400 residential dwellings, including vehicle access.The plans involve relocating the East Lancs Paper Mill Cricket Club pitch.In addition, an historic Ramsbottom hotel is set to be converted into offices if councillors follow recommendations.
