Pipeline Framework: Approved Provider List for the Provision of High Needs Study Programme for Young People with Complex Needs (High Needs Learners)

A pipeline has been launched for Approved Provider List for the Provision of High Needs Study Programme for Young People with Complex Needs (High Needs Learners).The contract start Date is 01 August 2019. Approach to market date is 01 February 2019.The Authority’s Adult Learning & Skills Service provides support for young people with complex needs as part of a Personalised Learning Pathway (PLP). However, some of the support required is of a specialist nature and therefore cannot be met by the Authority. In order to meet these service delivery requirements, the Authority is required to sub-contract some of aspects of the PLP to specialist Providers. This contract will provide provision through an Approved Provider List which will enable the Authority to call-off with approved Providers for specific areas of learning support and skills. The Authority are seeking new and existing providers of learning opportunities to become a subcontractor of NYCC Adult Learning and Skills Service which is to start delivery in September 2019 with an interest in delivering all or one of the identified pathways. A Market Engagement session will be held on Thursday 17th January 2019 at 13:30 at Evolution Business Centre, County Business Park, Darlington Rd, Northallerton DL6 2NQ. Any interested suppliers should confirm attendence or seek further information via alssadmin@northyorks.gov.uk by Tuesday 15th January 2019.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
