United Kingdom-Glasgow: Medical insurance services – Framework Lead

The current contract for Medical insurance services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 10-JAN-20 and may be available for retender. P16-0007 Americas Healthcare.
Scottish Enterprise seeks to appoint a supplier who will provide a company healthcare plan for Scottish Development International and SCTR Limited employees, based in the Americas as part of their healthcare benefits package. We envisage that the contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further year, commencing in October, 2015.

Suppliers are required to demonstrate that they will comply with US state regulations for insurance provision in the states which they will be required to operate within. Please submit the relevant accreditation with the tender response.
Scottish Trade & Research Limited (SCTR Limited) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Scottish Enterprise, all locally hired staff in the US are contracted to SCTR Limited.
Scottish Development International currently employs 28 members of staff based in America, we currently have 6 expat and 22 locally hired members of staff. We have five offices based in the following:
Boston (11 staff), Chicago (5 staff), Houston (4 staff) and San Jose (8 staff). Please note that 2 of these staff although based in the above offices, work from home offices in Conneticut.
