Pipeline Framework: Royal Leamington Spa Christmas Lights

A pipeline has been launched for Royal Leamington Spa Christmas Lights.The contract start Date is 31 May 2019. Approach to market date is 31 January 2019.Warwick District Council (WDC) is committed to displaying Christmas lights in Leamington Spa during the seasonal period, usually from November until January. Therefore WDC, in conjunction with BID Leamington and Leamington Town Council will be issuing a tender this year to select a supplier to erect Christmas illuminations in the Leamington Spa town centre. The contract will require the provision of: some/all illuminations, infrastructure, testing (illuminations, timers, and anchor bolts), installation, maintenance, removal and storage of the illuminations. The duration of this contract will be 4 years. This contract is split into 2 areas:- the acquisition of new lights (purchase or lease),- the installation, removal, storage (including existing pre-owned lights) and maintenance. Suppliers are invited to attend an pre-market engagement event on Thursday 31st January 2019. To confirm interest in attending this event, please register at www.csw-jets.co.uk and submit correspondence through the portal against the project titled: WDC – Provision of seasonal lights for Leamington Spa. Suppliers will be provided with further information about the event upon expressing interest to attend via the portal.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
