Latest phase of 600-home scheme approved
The latest phase of a 600-home project in the National Forest has secured outline permission.The go-ahead has been granted for 68 homes at Cadley Park in Swadlincote by South Derbyshire Council. The application had been submitted on behalf of landowner Harworth Group by Pegasus Group.The 4.5-acre site is part of a wider scheme which will also include a country park, two nine-hole golf courses, a driving range and 4,000 sq ft of commercial/leisure development that includes a family pub.Parcel A will be formally marketed to housebuilders in the spring. When complete, Cadley Park will also include 132 homes on Parcel B, currently being built by Taylor Wimpey, and up to 400 new homes on Parcel C.
