Plans in for healthy Oxford café
Plans have been filed proposing changing the use of an Oxford shop into a vegan and vegetarian-friendly café.The property at 135 Hollow Way is currently operated by vintage and antique furniture retailer Gilt & Grain.An application seeking prior approval to change the use of the site was filed with Oxford City Council last week.According to a planning statement prepared by al3d Projects, the café would promote ‘healthiness and eco-friendliness’.It will sell tea and coffees, as well as vegan-friendly baked goods, with all products offered with the aim of promoting local suppliers.The intended trading hours for the venue are 7am – 6pm Monday to Saturday and 8.30 – 4pm on Sundays.
