Trio of Manchester property deals confirmed

A trio of major Manchester property deals have been confirmed with a listed law firm, doctors’ regulator and online technology company all making the move.Knights plc has agreed to let 16,272 sq ft of space on the sixth level of Two St Peter’s Square after striking a deal with CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield, acting on behalf of Mosley Street Ventures.The firm had previously outlined plans to relocate from Hollins Chambers to the recently refurbished Barbirolli Square but will now move to Two St Peter’s Square instead.Two St Peter’s Square, owned by a real estate fund managed by DWS, is centrally located within the heart of Manchester’s business quarter. It comprises 161,065 sq ft of grade A office accommodation with only the 11th floor remaining.Elsewhere, In-Touch Networks and the General Medical Council (GMC) have both secured lettings at 3 Hardman Square in Spinningfields.The former has relocated to the property to expand its existing office accommodation, taking 22,000 sq ft on the third floor of the building. Its decision to relocate into the building was influenced by common area upgrades.The GMC has also taken 22,000 sq ft but on the eighth floor. The space is close to the organisation’s existing Hardman Street base and will be turned into a new clinical assessment centre for overseas doctors.3 Hardman Square has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme, upgrading the ground floor reception area, including the installation of new lighting, wall cladding, a touchdown area and furniture.OBI represented In-Touch Networks and JLL represented the GMC.
