Petrol station and M&S proposed for Sedgefield
Plans have been unveiled for a new Marks & Spencer food store, café and BP petrol station in Sedgefield.The development would create almost 20 new jobs and is set to be proposed for an unused site adjacent to the A689/A177 roundabout.Commercial partners will hold a public consultation for the people of Sedgefield later this week, with a formal planning application expected to be submitted in summer 2019.The proposals include a BP petrol filling station, a Marks & Spencer Simply Food store and a Wild Bean café.The public consultation event will be held at the Manor House, West End, Sedgefield on Thursday 14 February. Members of the development team will be present to discuss the proposals and answer any questions residents may have.
