United Kingdom-Coventry: Health and social work services – Framework Lead

The current contract for Health and social work services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 14-FEB-20 and may be available for retender. CSW/COV – Targeted services to support young people 16-19 (up to 25 SEND/21 LAC/Care Leavers) to participate in education or training.
Coventry and Warwickshire local authorities (LAs) are jointly tendering for a provider to meet the local authorities’ following statutory duties – to:
– Encourage, enable and assist the participation of young people in education or training, including the most vulnerable and those at risk of disengaging;
– Promote the effective post-16 participation in education and training of young people in Coventry and Warwickshire;
– Have in place arrangements to identify those who are not participating.
LAs have a critical role to play in supporting young people to access education and training and therefore in understanding the characteristics and current activity of the young people in their area. Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County Council aim to maximise 16-19 year old (up to 25 SEND/21 LAC/Care Leavers) participation in education and training (EET) and to minimise NEET (Not in Education or Training) and Situation Not Known.
