Green light tipped for 150 city centre flats
A total of 150 apartments could be created in Nottingham city centre if the application is voted through next week (20 February 2019).Indigo Planning is seeking permission from the city council, on behalf of Cassidy Group, for the scheme in London Road.The site is partially occupied by an empty three-storey Victorian commercial property known as the Walter Danks building. The application, which has been recommended for approval, includes 95 studios, 48 one-bed, four two-bed and three two-bed apartments.Behind the retained facades, the warehouse would be rebuilt to three storeys and extended to the rear while a new build element to the south of would be linked to the warehouse and rise to eight storeys in height.The development would also include a gym and 27 car parking spaces.
