Green light for major investment at Derbys Infinity Park
The green light has been given to allocate almost £20m to be invested in Derby’s Infinity Park to create new warehouse and office space for aerospace giant Pattonair.Derby City Council’s cabinet has signed off on funding bid for a new 80,000 sq ft warehouse and 15,000 sq ft of office space.A further 30,000 sq ft of mezzanine officers will also be created within the warehouse.The council has negotiated terms with the developer for the site, Infinity Park Derby LLP, and Derby-based transport engineering supply chain company Pattonair, who will lease the building upon completion.The authority’s cabinet was asked to approve expenditure and include the project in the regeneration capital programme on Wednesday 13 February.
