Plans for more than 200 homes submitted for former university site
Plans for more than 200 homes as well as a community hub have been submitted on behalf of Nationwide Building Society for land that was previously a University of Bath campus in Wiltshire.The former Oakfield Campus in Swindon was vacated in 2008 before being cleared in 2009.Metropolitan Workshop was appointed by Igloo Regeneration on behalf of Nationwide Building Society to design the residential scheme at Oakfield.168 of the homes will be market housing, with 29 intermediate and 42 as social housing.The plans also include a 950 sq ft space for a community hub.
