First phase of Chester Gate given green light
The first phase of a 500-home development on the outskirts of Sunderland has been granted planning approval by Sunderland City Council.The new development, led by housing association Gentoo Group, has been named “Chester Gate” after its prominent position on the edge of the city adjacent to Chester RoadResponding to local demand for housing, the first phase will feature 118 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses available to buy and to rent.
