We will establish a unique facility by combining a state-of-the-art commercial diffractometer with bespoke high-pressure equipment. The instrument will be located in the Centre for Science at Extreme Conditions at The University of Edinburgh, a cross-disciplinary collaborative organisation of academic staff from the Schools of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Geosciences and Physics and Astronomy.
