Riverside apartment blocks set for approval
Plans for two apartment blocks for the banks of the River Usk are set to be approved after receiving a positive recommendation from planners.The proposals, which would accommodate 76 flats across one five-story and one six-storey building, were submitted on behalf of Jehu Group.The proposal has been recommended for approval, subject to a 20 per cent affordable housing component as well as contributions towards education and leisure.Newport City Council’s planning committee is to consider the proposal on Wednesday 6 March.
