Nottinghamshire developer swoops for 11-acre site
A Nottinghamshire-based property development, investment and management group has bought 11 acres of commercial development land on Somerby Park in the Lincolnshire town of Gainsborough.Strawsons Property bought the land for an undisclosed sum last month and has revealed plans to develop a number of small, speculative units, as well as providing larger design and build premisesSomerby Park has already been allocated outline planning permission for business, general industrial, storage or distribution, as well as financial and professional services use.Paul White from Brown & Co, which has been appointed to market the proposed developments, said: “Gainsborough is the focus of a major growth and investment programme, which will see 4,435 homes developed by 2036, together with commercial development and job creation.
